Gold printing or hot stamping is a technology in which a metal cliche and a metallized foil are used to print an image on some flat heat-resistant surface – paper, plastic, leather – at a certain pressure, temperature and time. It is used to give the product greater effect, uniqueness and luxury. Foils are available in a wide range of colours.
